Your safety — and your baby’s — is our top priority. Because research on essential oil use during pregnancy is limited, we take a cautious approach and recommend following our pregnancy and nursing safety chart. If an oil isn’t listed, we suggest avoiding it while pregnant or nursing.

The first trimester can be especially sensitive, so we recommend avoiding regular essential oil use during this time. If you’re experiencing nausea, you may try placing one drop of Peppermint or Spearmint on a tissue and gently inhaling the aroma.

Every pregnancy is unique, so we always encourage listening to your body and checking with your healthcare provider before using essential oils. If you ever have questions, our team is always happy to help.
